About the app
What is Pora na Paru?
An app and a website with the class schedules of universities and colleges. Pick your institution and group — or yourself, if you teach — and your classes are always at hand.
Is it free?
Yes. For students and teachers it is completely free, with no subscriptions. The institution pays for the service.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone with iOS 17 or later and Android 10 or later; the schedule also opens in a browser. Get the app from the App Store, Google Play or RuStore — the links are on the Download page.
I am a teacher — is it for me too?
Yes. On first launch, choose the «Teacher» role and find yourself in the list — the app will show your classes. You can change the role in your profile.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once loaded, the schedule is saved on your phone and opens without a network.
How do I add a widget?
Touch and hold an empty spot on your home screen, then pick Pora na Paru in the list of widgets. On iPhone there are Lock Screen widgets too.
The schedule
Where does the schedule come from?
From the institution's official schedule: either the institution publishes it in our service itself, or we carry it over from the institution's official sources. We never make anything up or change it at our own discretion.
How quickly do changes show up?
A few minutes after the institution publishes them. The app updates the schedule by itself whenever it is online.
Why isn't my university here?
We add institutions together with their academic office. Tell your university about us — or write to us, and we will get in touch with it ourselves.
Found a mistake in the schedule?
Why don't the class times match my clock?
The schedule is always shown in your institution's local time, even when your phone is in another time zone.
Notes and notifications
Where are my notes stored?
Only on your phone. We cannot see them, and they are never sent to a server.
What notifications does the app send?
Reminders about notes, a summary of your study day, reminders about important classes, and alerts when the institution changes the schedule. Each is turned on separately in your profile.
Data and the project
What data do you collect?
Anonymous usage statistics — which features are used, so that we know what to improve. They come with an anonymous installation identifier — no name, email or phone number, no ads and no third-party trackers. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
